Hello! My name is Micah Blakeslee! Welcome to my website!

Here you can find my resume, and see my reels and portfolios for video production, photography, music, and acting!

I’ve worked in television and radio for the last half decade, providing content to millions of viewers and listeners along the way. From marketing to directing, filming to social media, I’ve done it. I graduated from the University of Florida in 2012 with my B.S. in Telecommunication with in emphasis in Film Production. I have been working in the media field since 2010, and moving forward, I have consistently expanded my abilities and experience by working in the ever-broadening field I love.

My diverse career has given gave me a vast array of knowledge  in all stages of media.  I am experienced in both cinematography and photography, having been assigned to film in both the studio and the field. I am accomplished in post-production using Final Cut Pro, Pro Tools, and the Adobe Creative Suite. I have gained valuable management experience by heading commercial production teams, seeing promotions to completion from preparation to on-air presentation. I get along well with others, and have coordinated with clients to meet their needs and see to it their commercials are impactful. In my position in Savannah, GA, I spearheaded the City of Savannah’s Mayor’s Healthy Kids campaign, responsible for teaching children about the importance of health and preparation.  I also have experience managing social media for the stations I’ve worked at, being responsible for contests and story dispersion.

Working on live broadcasts featuring new content daily, I have grown accustomed to performing within high pressure environments with strict deadlines. In fact, in Virginia Beach, I directed daily newscasts that were viewed by millions. As a commercial producer, I also have worked with clients to create commercials and have supervised all levels of spot production from organization to filming and post-production editing.
